Finally!

I'm writing this blog post from the comfort of my bedroom...not at my desk at school, not in the blue chair in the living room (which is usually the only place in the house where we can get an internet connection)...but from my bedroom!

After 8 months of living here, we finally got the internet! And the router is in my bedroom, so it's 5 full bars of "Excellent", password-protected connection!

My new exercise plan...

I made a plan last night that will help me lose a lot of weight and get in shape. Here it is...

Every time I lose patience with my class and yell at them, I have to run a mile after work.

Good plan, huh?

It's that time of year when I'm on edge and can't wait for spring. As a result, I often lose patience with my students...and it's often for stupid reasons that I would over-look at any other time of the year.

I'm proud to say that I don't have to run tonight.

I love Fridays :)

Rex Lee Run

After months of complaining that I couldn't see the tv across the living room, I finally broke down and bought a tv. My friend Ryan was kind enough to go to Costco with my roommates and I on Saturday night to pick out the best one. They were out of the one I wanted, so I had to wait until yesterday after work to get it at a different location.

It's so pretty...and huge! All 42" of it. :) Once we got it all set-up, we tested the wiring skills with Harry Potter. But once we knew it was working, we ended up watching Emma.Love that movie!

The most entertaining part may have been putting together the stand I bought (or carrying the box up the stairs...it was way heavier than the tv!) My roommates are amazing. Thanks for helping! Now we just need a nice person to help us put the doors on the stand...it's kind of tricky.

So this weekend I remembered that I should probably take my Toyota into the dealership since the news keeps telling me that my Corolla has been recalled.

Well I just looked on their website and saw this...
"...vehicles with VINs that begin with 'J' are not involved in the sticking accelerator pedal recall."

Guess what my VIN begins with...
J!
I am going to call the dealership, but I think I'm off the hook from a messed up accelerator!

Oh what a morning!

It's 7:40a.m., and so far my morning has been GREAT!

"Why?" you ask...

Because I got my order of Girl Scout cookies!
