Why do I love Halloween so much? Because everyone gets to dress up like idiots! It's so fun! We had our ward activity tonight. As of last night, I had no clue what I was going to be. Then I remembered this brilliant costume that my roommate Katie's brother made a couple years ago out of a matress pad...none other than Spongebob Squarepants!
Don't worry, I had that cheesy face all night! I even ran around screaming like a crazy like Spongebob often does. It was classic. :) I was so proud that I didn't go out and spend any money on this. I already had the paints and some fabric from the "square pants" and tie. It was funny. :)
There were some other great costumes at the party...especially a lot to do with current events...like Sarah Palin, "Joe the Plumber", and someone who works on Wall Street who had killed themself :)
This is with my roommates....Rebecca (who is actually my neighbor) was an old lady, Alisha was Belle, Cheryl looks a lot like Julia Roberts, so she was dressed up from a scene in Runaway Bride, and Annie was a Hokie Pokie instructor :) Yay for Halloween!

How fun!! I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to be for Halloween. It really is such a hard decision. I bet you were the best Spongebob ever!
I love it! We thought about having Annabelle be Spongebob but then we decided to be the Flintstones. We had our ward Halloween party on Friday too and it was great. I'll post pictures later and you'll have to check them out.
haha, that looks like it was fun!
Wow that is amazing!!! I am so impressed. Especially since I ended up spending too much money on mine for sure. Good work though.
Oh boy! My boys are going to be so jealous when they see your costume! What a great idea. I can't wait to see you in Portland!
Love your costume, and it is acutally quite flattering to your figure(much better than a tent!)I'm serious, you are looking great. I loved your creativity. Any great ideas for my boys? They are having a hard time deciding what to be. One other problem...David will be out of town. He is always our make-up artist. He makes the kids look awesome. Maybe I could have my kids dress up like orphans? I wouldn't even have to dress them up!
Hey I found your blog link in Megan's...hope that is OK. I love your halloween costume. I'll ask Rick for ideas for your blog name I can't imagine what he would come up with...it could be scarey. Hey take a peek at my lbog when you have time, its on Meg's link list.
Awesome costume! That's actually what Gabe wanted to be for Halloween too. I think he remembered the same costume you did. Yours was way cooler than his would have been though. ;)
How totally AWSOME! I love your costume. You are so creative. I'll have to tell Shell to take a look. Carson LOVES Spongebob!
Shannon, you kill me!
Hi Shannon, it's your cousin, Michelle...and yes, Carson is quite bumbed that he has to be a pirate and not spongebob...maybe next year! Very cute!!
You look awesome! How did you wear that??!!
So, I commented here a while ago and it never showed up. I don't know what happened. Basically I just said that your costume is super cool and I think you'd win a contest. Super funny! Did you wear it to TMS?
