A name for my car...

"Edward in the sunlight was shocking. I couldn't get used to it, though I'd been staring at him all afternoon. His skin...literally sparkled, like thousands of tiny diamonds were embedded in the surface...A perfect statue, carved in some unknown stone, smooth like marble, glittering like crystal."
-Twilight, by Stephanie Meyer

As I sat outside this afternoon reading a book (oddly enough, another Stephanie Meyer book...The Host), I kept looking over at my pretty new car. It literally sparkled, like thousands of tiny diamonds were embedded in the surface. :) So I've decided to name my car Edward. :) For those of you who haven't read the Twilight books, you should. :) They're super easy to read, and they're fun! Plus you would have a greater understanding of the name choice for my car.

Goodbye, stupid shiny Volvo. Hello, beautiful shiny Corolla! :)

Love it!! I love your car too!! I'll be in Montana until the middle of July- so I'll be here the whole time you are. We should try and get together!

You are so awesome!! So, how is "The Host"? I didn't realize that I was missing out on another one of Stephanie's books. I am excited to have another good read!
Love you! Cherilyn

You're too funny Shannon. I totally support naming cars--especially Corolla's. They're the best! Yours is so cute too. WAY cuter than my old non-shaded windows version. Aren't you excited to have a car that will run FOREVER?! At least practically.
By the way, my corolla's name is "Corolla Baby," creative huh?

THis is jackie, I found you through Heather. Congrats on the car, very fitting name.

I just finished the host, what did you think?

So, Department chair? Mix and Mingle? PTSA? You do it all!

I don't know if you remember me, but I used to hang out with you and Sally at the church dances all the time! And, what good times those were! But, I too love to name cars and I think you have picked an excellent name for your car! And, I am so sorry that someone broke into your old car, how rude, and how scary to know someone would do that! I am glad that you are okay though, and that you found your Cd and Tool Kit! The bare essentials that you don't miss until they are gone! Anyway, your Trip to Jackson looked like a ton fo fun! My husband loves Wyoming and desperatly wants to move there, but I'm not sold on it yet! But, your pictures might have just helped to change my mind! Anyway, I hope you remember me and have an excellent summer on your many vactions! I am jelous that you got to stay with Sally already this summer, I want to go stay with her forever cuz I miss her so much!
